Quarterly payments
If you like to pay your rates on discount day and have the funds available for your rate payment in your bank account, then Council's direct debit facility may be the option for you.
It gives you advance notification on your rates notice of the amount and date of the payment and confirms Council will be withdrawing the outstanding amount only, from your nominated cheque or savings account on discount day.
Periodic payments
Ratepayers have the option to make weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments using direct debit.In choosing this option the ratepayer elects to nominate an amount (minimum $40) and frequency of payments.
The ratepayer also accepts responsibility to provide sufficient payment to satisfy the amount due on or before the due date and/or to provide additional payment using another payment method to ensure that discount is granted.
Pricacy Statement
Logan City Council is collecting your contact information, property and financial details in order to process your authorised arrangement for funds to be debited from your nominated bank account.
The information will only be accessed by employees of Logan City Council for Council related business activities.
The information may be transferred to other government agencies hosting the SmartForms platform. Some of this information may be given to the relevant financial institution for the purpose of this process.
Your information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and may be released to other parties where we are required or authorised by law to do so.
